About Us

Grace Centre Foundation has been serving the community since 2004 by providing children from various backgrounds with a tailored literacy program, sponsoring children to further their studies and we have impacted over 2000 children through our community service program. Our mission is to be a voice to the needy. With your help we believe this mission can be accomplished.

What We Do

Academic Centre

Our Academic Centre, Hope Again, caters for teenagers who have not managed to complete their primary school education and are, in fact, illiterate. By providing the appropriate environment coupled with suitable teaching techniques, these young people re-acquire their taste for learning and succeed in reaching a level of literacy where they can be independent.

Community Service

Grace Centre Foundation (GCF)Christmas Fun Days began in 2012. Each year different groups of children who come from disadvantaged regions across the island are brought to the facilities of GCF in Phoenix and given a day to remember. Transport to and from their areas is organized and they experience a day packed with activities (craft, dance, sport etc) and fun. Snacks and lunch are also provided and each child receives a gift.

Sponsorship

GCF sponsors teenagers and young adults hailing from underprivileged backgrounds. These individuals, often facing challenging circumstances, benefit from GCF’s support in pursuing studies in various sectors such as such as culinary, beauty care, carpentry and more. In doing so, GCF, hopes to help equip these youngsters with the necessary tools to be autonomous, build themseleves up and to be a productive member of society.

A day to remember! On November 20, 2023, 1,000 children gathered at Grace Centre Foundation to mark International Children's Rights Day. Thank you to Grace Centre Foundation for believing in the project and supporting it.

Grace Centre Foundation treated us to a marvellous day which delighted both the children and the staff. Not only were there well-planned activities, but also food as well as gifts. Some children who had never come to this part of Mauritius before were so happy to see Phoenix Mall. Thank you so much, Grace Centre Foundation! We look forward to the next time!
